Missed out yesterday :/ I was ...practicing for this arts festival auditions...practicing the first electric guitar's solos for 'Your grace is enough' cause our usual player didn't want to partake :/ so yeah, stayed up late learning the solo part and trying to lead and sing simultaneously :( so no #3 blog >< sorry...to myself for not being dedicated.
Anyways, moving on. Today I had third day of practice for upcoming church camp and for the arts festival. My church worship team is participating in the competition festival thing~ and yeah...made some modifications to our original way of playing Your grace is enough, and with me playing elec now...amd leading. Well yeah, things went ok...had kfc for lunch, Tony was so happy hahahah he's in love with it ohmy...
Had the audition and think we did alrighty^^ hopefully get into finals and do a song that is way more intense.
One rant..ohmy this festival is christian event and yeah, its about worshipping God but it feels so much like a competition :/ like everyone is so intense...like man, chill...it's all for Gods glory! And they say...we are gonna sing a song. A song. Not worship...hm >< man...what do they want to achieve from it? Gain the prize money? Is that why...but yeah, one big reason why my team didn't want to do it at all..but eventually we decided to cause it was a great opportunity and it felt like God was leading us to do this:) anyways, hopefully did well enough to be through to finals!
Well, then we continued practice for camp, with John's guidance and feedback to the team. What we needed work on, fix it, and master it :) well finished 30or so songs completely, all ready for camp hehe.
Yeaahhh~had intense prayer session where everyone prayed going around in a circle. Like out-loud prayers about anything, was good as!:)
Our main song for camp is 'Jesus Generation - 천관웅' a worship about...this generation and how we are the new leaders, relates to the camps theme on 'Christian life' Check it out!
Well, still praying for church, for the camp. For my teacher who is organising everything for us.
Praying for family, my brother to be safe while in Hongkong and Korea.
Praying for the other students at my church, to attend camp and meet God, starting with worship :)
Praying for my friends, to also meet God and encounter his grace and love and everything! To keep their faith and hope :)
These are my prayers right now and hope you can pray too when you're free!
